Services are a key component of today's economy. Companies without sophisticated service controlling and costing methodologies will find it very difficult to compete in the future. Gut feelings and broad-brush calculations, as in the past, will no longer sufficiently secure the future of companies in the long term.
This is especially true when the competition applies the new methods and systems and has the necessary information and assessment advantage.
The redevelopment of "services" was spearheaded by us in collaboration with several companies, including RWE, Miele, and Hochschule Niederrhein. This initiative was prompted by a survey conducted in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria seeking viable solutions, which yielded negative results.
1. Differences between Products and Services: Participants will learn the fundamental differences in the calculation and valuation of products and services. The focus will be on the newly developed innovative 6-step calculation solution for services.
2. Cost Drivers in the Service Business: Participants will gain a clear overview of the most important cost drivers in the service sector and their impact on costs and prices. They will learn how to analyze and control these drivers in a targeted manner.
3. Strategic Advantages of Modern Calculation Methods: • Accurate calculation of hourly rates • Identification of all savings potential • Integrated risk controlling and future forecasts • Conducting simulations and international performance and cost comparisons • Competitive comparisons and derivation of operational and strategic measures • Maximization of decision certainty
Special Features: This seminar combines theoretical knowledge with practical calculation methods developed in cooperation with leading companies such as RWE, Miele, and the University of Niederrhein. It conveys the skills to use service calculations as both a strategic and operational tool to increase competitiveness.
The cost for a seminar day is €955 plus VAT. The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 10 people to ensure a tailored and personal learning environment!
The duration of the seminar depends on the objectives and prior knowledge of the participants and usually lasts 1 to 2 days. In many cases, it can be beneficial to add an extra day after a break for reflection and gathering experiences.
